Tonalli Magana-Guzman
Is the Founder and Director of Operations of Media Music Deli. He is also the main composer and coffee junkie
in the studio.
As an entrepreneur Tonalli has Co-founded the 48hr Short Film Festival in Tijuana called Recortos 48, and in Merida, Yucatán Mexico he founded the SinfonÃa Silente 48hr Music Composition Festival.
Tonalli has been writing music and doing sound design for Media since 2002, he has worked on more than 40 motion picture projects ranging from Shorts, Tv Spots, International campaigns and Indie Features. He has recently donde music for Nestle, Reebook and Teleton USA.
His concert music has been performed by L´Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Ensemble Intercontemporaine, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de La Ciudad de México and several renown performers like Omar Hernánez-Hidalgo and Alejandro Escuer. He has taught the Taller de Música electrónica (sampleo) 2006 (workshop on sampling), Tijuana, and the Taller de producción musical (music production workshop )at the Nortec Collective's Bostich institute. Tonalli specializes in studio production, synthestration, post production, recording, sound editing sound design and sampling. His composition fortes are orchestral and electronic music.
